Does this list include Central Saanich or the City of Victoria?
No. This page covers the District of Saanich's official park records and sheets. Nearby municipalities have separate parks. A Victoria mailing address on a Saanich document does not change the park's municipality.

Why is the directory count different from the district's general park total?
A boundary layer counts land polygons, while a public park list counts named places. Some parks have several polygons. The GIS also has unnamed park records and separate maintenance or water-access parcels. Those categories must not be added together as one public park total.

How can I find a Saanich park with a playground?
Check each park's listed amenities. The park sheets identify playgrounds where present. Use the linked sheet for the site you plan to visit. A general neighbourhood park classification does not guarantee a playground.
