THE ROLE
We are currently seeking a Potting Shed Clerk to join our Root Cellar team! As a Potting Shed Clerk, you will be responsible for watering and caring for plants, ensuring overall appearance of both outside and inside potting shed displays, and providing excellent customer service.
- Water, trim, and care for plants and floral products.
- Maintain clean, tidy, and well-stocked displays.
- Unload deliveries and restock merchandise and ensure correct product rotation.
- Greet and assist customers with plant, floral, and garden product inquiries.
- Follow all safety protocols, including lifting techniques and protective equipment use.
- Maintain awareness of weather conditions and work safely in varying outdoor environments.

What You Bring To The Table
- This position requires the candidate to lift up to 50 lb, bending, stand for shift duration, climb stairs, and perform repetitive tasks.
- The ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a busy environment.
- The ability to work well within a team.
- Previous floral or plant experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right person with the right attitude!
- Provide superior customer service.
- Be willing and available to work openings, mid-days, and closings both weekdays and weekends, 16 to 30 hours per week.
